Hi, I’m Jenna: contemporary Scottish artist, wife, and mother to two gorgeous girls.
I live in Scotland near the banks of Loch Lomond, where I love creating unique original art that reflects the beauty of the natural world around me, rich with the colours of the ocean, the land and the sky. I specialise in fluid art mediums including alcohol inks and epoxy resin, and my work is vibrant, soothing, and luxurious. I sell my art internationally and have built my brand independently using Instagram and Facebook, where I love connecting with art lovers all over the world.
When I discovered the fluid art mediums that I use to create my paintings today, the creative process just clicked. Mixing, guiding and gently blowing inks across the page is extremely therapeutic, and I create artworks that are rich in soothing influences, infused with a deep sense of calm and wellbeing.
The link between art and emotions has always been important to me. Before becoming a full-time artist, I built my career as an art therapist, supporting children and adults to unlock their own creativity to express themselves, manage stress and make sense of their feelings. As an artist, I have been pleased to discover that many people feel the same calm and happiness in looking at my work, as I find in creating it.
Making art my full-time business has allowed me to do what I feel passionate about whilst also fitting my work around family life. I’m a married mum with two young daughters, Arya and Evie, and it’s important to me to be around as much as possible and to share my work with them. I work from home, and I love that my girls are growing up constantly exposed to art and creativity.
I’m proud to have built my art business independently through social media, particularly Instagram, where I often share my art process. My work is collected and enjoyed by people internationally, and my Instagram following has steadily grown. I feel privileged to have made connections with people all over the world, through art.
