They are inspired by my love of spending time near the water’s edge, steeped in the sense of perfect calm & relaxation that comes from watching the waves roll onto the shore.

Gold leaf is used to create the sand that the waves lap upon, whilst a glossy finish captures the ripple and wave of the water’s natural movement, giving these mixed-media paintings a feeling of luxuriousness that will add elegance and a sense of ocean-inspired tranquillity to your interior space.
The Golden Sands collection includes mounted paintings on paper, as well as box-framed resin paintings. Matching hand-painted coasters are also available to complement selected resin works.
My paper pieces are painted on yupo paper, coated with a protective varnish spray that allows the gold highlights to sparkle and shimmer. They are supplied mounted, and ready to frame. In the resin pieces, wave foam details were created within the resin, adding to the depth and intricate detailing of the finished work. A touch of glitter incorporated within the resin gives your painting a subtle sparkle, which combines with gold highlights in the work to make it shimmer like water when it catches the light.
Each painting is personally signed with my initials, both on the front and the back.
