The Golden Sands of Scotland collection ranges from big, statement pieces to smaller, perfect gems, inspired by the colours that I associate with the landscapes of Scotland: soft, muted blues, cool shades of grey, and the beautiful purples of wild Scottish plants like thistles and heather. I combine these colours to represent the waves that lap against our gorgeous Scottish coasts.

Liquid gold leaf is used to create sandy shores, whilst a glossy finish captures the ripple and wave of the water’s natural movement. Each of these mixed-media paintings is rich with a feeling of luxuriousness that will add elegance and a sense of ocean-inspired tranquillity to your interior space.
My paper pieces are painted on yupo paper, coated with a protective varnish spray that allows the gold highlights to sparkle and shimmer.
The resin artworks are supplied mounted to a wooden box frame and coated with a glass-like epoxy resin finish. Beautiful wave foam details within the resin add to the depth and detail of each piece, whilst a touch of glitter incorporated within the resin gives paintings in the Golden Sands of Scotland collection a subtle sparkle that combines with gold highlights to shimmer like water when it catches the light.
Each painting is personally signed with my initials, front & back.
