Sandra had begun decorating her living room and she was looking for an original piece of artwork to tie all her colours together. She sent me lots of photos of her interior; violet white walls, dusky pink accessories, and a warm red sofa. Sandra told me she loves my abstract ocean wave pieces and would like a sunset inspired painting on a circular board.
I colour-matched the shades of pinks and reds from Sandra’s décor, so the finished bespoke artwork beautifully brought together her living room interior colours. The painting featured silver details with a subtle sparkle when it catches the light. I titled the piece ‘Summer Solstice’ because it makes me think of long hot summer days in the sunshine. Sandra said, “Jenna’s artwork is just beautiful. I recently had a circular painting commissioned and am absolutely thrilled with the result.”
Feedback like that means the world to me: I loved working on this commission for Sandra, and I was overjoyed to hear how much the painting means to her as it takes pride of place in her home.
