Glimmers Collection

Inspired by the beautiful movement of water ripples during golden hour, this statement piece is an exploration of light, warmth and the fleeting moments we wish we could hold onto a little longer.

Rather than trying to capture the water realistically, I've taken a more abstract approach, using layers of paint, shimmering gold leaf and reflective resin to explore the way golden light dances across the surface. The painting changes beautifully depending on how the light falls across it, with the gold catching and reflecting the light in different ways throughout the day.

For me, this painting is about capturing the feeling of golden hour and making it everlasting. That beautiful moment when the light catches the water, everything seems to slow down, and we're reminded to pause and appreciate the beauty around us.

The little painting that started it all - an early study I created while developing the new direction for my Glimmers paintings. This piece helped me explore the composition and landscape for my later works. It was a joy to create and feels like an important part of the journey of my art.

‘A Trace of Something Precious’

This special statement piece is part of a series of paintings inspired by a family trip to New Zealand last year.

While driving along the coast, we stopped at an incredible viewpoint overlooking the breathtaking landscape. Looking out across the water, I noticed a beautiful winding trail left behind by a boat we couldn't see.

It was such a simple thing, but its beauty stayed with me. I began thinking about how something so fleeting could leave such a lasting impression, and how the places we visit, the moments we share, and the adventures we have become precious memories that stay with us long after they've passed.

This inspired a new direction for my Glimmers paintings, with golden light moving across the water, following the beautiful traces left behind by boats.
