This is one of the showstoppers from my collection - a large, statement piece inspired by Dumbarton Rock, near my home on the west coast of Scotland. It’s a beautiful place, sitting at the edge of the Firth of Clyde, where the sunsets are often spectacular. This painting captures the vibrant warmth of the sky and the golden glow dancing across the water.

The positive affirmation “I find strength in stillness” is a gentle reminder to slow down and be present - to allow space for rest and reflection. The enduring strength of the rock in the background symbolises this quiet resilience and grounded calm.

This piece feels particularly special to me. It’s the largest painting in the collection - a true statement piece and one of the showstoppers of the series.

‘My Favourite Days Are With You’ was inspired by a sunset evening on the west coast of Scotland, looking out towards the Isle of Arran. It holds cherished memories of my daughters playing on the beach - a moment filled with light, laughter, and so much love.

The painting captures the golden glow of the setting sun and the quiet beauty of time spent together - those favourite days with the ones we love.
