It’s late and the moon is shining brightly. Imagine the soothing sound of waves tumbling to the shore. Picture the water glistening in moonlight; captivating shimmers of light reflecting onto the waves as they lap onto sandy shores.

Welcome to my Moonlit Waves collection.

These original artworks evolved as further exploration building from my previous collections; ‘Golden Sands’, and ‘Moonlight Reflections’. This new series of work combines the themes of these collections and aims to capture the beauty of waves illuminated by the moon, lapping against a sandy coast.

The colours used in these pieces are deep and bold, with stunning highlights of silver that come to life when the light catches them. The paintings feel luxurious, with gorgeous silver textural sand detailing. Layers have been used to create depth, with an incredible sense of movement and flow that can only be achieved by the use of alcohol inks.

There are a variety of artwork sizes and two different painting formats to choose from in the collection; paper or resin pieces. The original works on paper will look striking when framed and are the most affordable option for larger artwork. They are painted on heavyweight paper and packaged within a protective cellophane sleeve.

Resin pieces are highly detailed paintings which have been built up using several layers of resin on a wooden box frame. They are intricate artworks that invite you to look closer and see the details within. These pieces have a shiny, glossy finish that is both contemporary and unique. The small resin artworks also come with the option to include a gift box – making a one-of-a-kind present for someone special.

Each painting is personally signed with my initials, both on the front and the back.

As always, working on these paintings evoked for me the sense of calm and fascination I have when I gaze at the water’s edge watching the movement of the waves. I hope they will bring similar feelings of tranquillity and wonder to you as the viewer.

Shipping costs are based on total shipping weight and are automatically calculated at checkout.

All original artwork is sent using Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ or Special Delivery services, depending on item value.

International shipping is available for all resin paintings 12x12 inches or smaller, and for orders with a total weight of 2kgs or less. Please contact me if you would like to order a larger artwork and I can provide a shipping quote based on weight and shipping location.
