Building on from my last collection, Glimmers, these new paintings continue the exploration of finding the extraordinary in the everyday. Each piece is enriched with delicate gold metal leaf along the horizon, capturing fleeting moments of light and quiet beauty, and inviting mindfulness, joy, and connection with those around us.

Original Mixed Media Artwork

  • Created using acrylic paint with gold metal leaf along the horizon.

  • Painted on premium quality, acid free artist paper (Hahnemuhle 450gsm).

  • Paper size: 30cm x 40cm (11.8" x 15.7"). Painting size excluding white border: 25cm x 35cm (9.8" x 13.82)

  • Certificate of Authenticity: Each painting includes a certificate, verifying its details and signed by the artist.

  • Displaying Your Artwork: To best showcase the golden glow along the horizon, display your artwork in a well-lit area. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to protect the painting from UV damage. It is recommended original art is displayed behind glass - use UV protective glass whenever possible.

Each piece is enriched with delicate gold metal leaf along the horizon line, catching the light and illuminating those almost-missed moments when the ordinary transforms into something extraordinary.

These works celebrate the quiet beauty of fleeting moments - a sky turning gold, a serene evening by the sea, the simple, quiet details of everyday life.

The title, Out of the Ordinary, is inspired by the beautiful song by Alex Warren. The lyrics are just gorgeous and meaningful, perfectly capturing the spirit of this collection.
